Information You Send Directly
Names, phone numbers, or addresses entered into a search form are sent to the third-party provider that powers those results. Fresno County Residents Directory does not keep a copy of the search terms on its own servers. A message sent to us contains only the information included by the sender and is used to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Hosting services may record routine server-log data such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps maintain the service and understand which reference pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or, where used, advertising measurement.
How the Data Is Used
The purposes are operating the reference, diagnosing faults, measuring traffic, and improving content. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built by this reference.
Links to Outside Services
The reference links to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. The receiving service's privacy policy controls information submitted there. Sponsored search results are supplied by a separate company and follow that provider's practices.
Who May Receive It
Hosting and support providers may process ordinary server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is not shared as a visitor list.
Security Measures
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for as long as the stated purposes require. There are no accounts, passwords, or user profiles maintained by this reference for a visitor to expose.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Personal information from a person under 18 is not knowingly collected; if a minor has sent information, use the Contact page so it can be reviewed and deleted.
Your California Privacy Rights
Where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code section 1798.100 and following, provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, limit certain sensitive-data uses, and opt out of sale or sharing. The Delete Act, including Civil Code section 1798.99.80 and following, adds a data-broker deletion mechanism on its statutory schedule. Because this reference keeps very little, a request usually means checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then removing information held here when required.
Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by California, Fresno County, the City of Fresno, courts, or libraries are outside this reference's control. A removal or correction request for those records belongs with the custodian. The California Attorney General's privacy materials provide additional state guidance.
